About The Faithful Greek

My name is Despina, and I am the creator of The Faithful Greek.

The name The Faithful Greek reflects both my Greek heritage and my deep devotion to the Orthodox Christian faith, into which I was born.

My family is of Pontian descent, with roots in Veria, Kastoria, and Kozani, though we now call Melbourne, Australia, home. I am married to Lou, a proud Vlach from Nizepole, Bitola and together we have two teenage sons.

By profession, I work in accounting and finance, but my true passion lies in Orthodoxy and sharing the word of God. This love for my faith led me to embark on a small business venture dedicated to honouring our rich Orthodox traditions.

With deep reverence and love, I created these labels as a tribute to Easter, the most sacred celebration in the Orthodox liturgical calendar.

Our red egg labels are more than just adornments; they are symbols of faith, love, and tradition.
